Mary Brown, a member of Rayne United Methodist Church, is a wife, mother, and grandmother who has called New Orleans home for almost 30 years.
After earning a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Div. from Eastern Baptist Seminary, she gained extensive experience as a counselor, teacher, and writer. She is now enrolled in the D.Min. program at Boston University.
That’s just part of her story. She has lived through sickness, loss, abuse, hardship, attacks, failure, and grief, and will share details with you if you ask.
But, for her, this is the most important part: the love of God has been constant through it all. She writes because she loves to testify to God’s faithfulness, and hopes to encourage others in their faith journeys. She’s quick to say that she’s still learning, excited about discovering new depths, new truths, and new adventures in the Divine who surrounds and indwells us all.
